Recognition for the Gill House – National Overall Design Award and Highly Commended

We are thrilled to announce that our work on the Gill House (Brisbane) has been awarded the 2024 AGWA National Design Award—Residential Project category and a Highly Commended Award in the National Overall Design category! This incredible acknowledgement highlights the dedication and expertise of our specialised glazing team, which brought this unique architectural vision to life. 

Gill House stands out for its innovative use of glazing in challenging contexts, particularly the faceted elements in the living area that protrude like shark gills, extending the magnificent riverfront view. The expansive glass facade, large custom sawtooth windows, and sophisticated integration of aluminium windows and polished concrete made this project a prime example of pushing the limits of residential glazing.

The award is a testament to our team's commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and overcoming technical challenges—all of which have contributed to making Gill House a landmark in contemporary architectural design.
