CRR Beenleigh Line Upgrade

Upgrading Queensland’s Southern Rail Corridor

G.James Brisbane Glass Contracting is delivering glazing works as part of the Cross River Rail Beenleigh Line Stations Upgrade, in partnership with Unity Alliance.

The project forms a key component of the Cross River Rail program, enhancing six stations along Brisbane’s southern corridor, Dutton Park, Fairfield, Yeronga, Yeerongpilly, Rocklea and Salisbury, to improve safety, accessibility, and passenger comfort.

CRR Fairfield Station

Our team has completed glazing works at Dutton Park, Fairfield, Yeronga, Yeerongpilly and Rocklea stations, with Salisbury just completed.

The scope includes the fabrication and installation of G.James 475 Series framing systems, glazed with Solect Grey heat-strengthened laminated glass. These systems were selected for their balance of strength, performance and aesthetics, providing weather protection and solar control across new platform structures, concourses and lift enclosures.

CRR Yeronga Station

Installation across multiple active stations required precise scheduling, close coordination with Unity Alliance, and strict adherence to live-rail safety protocols. The result is a consistent, high-performance glazing outcome across all six stations, contributing to a modern, accessible and visually cohesive public transport network.

The Cross River Rail project continues to redefine passenger infrastructure across Queensland, and G.James is proud to play a role in delivering glazing solutions that help shape the future of urban mobility.
